Robson says schools kill creativity

There are three main points in this lecture. The first one is extraordinary evidence of human creativities. The second one is no idea to make a plan for the future. The last one is really extraordinary children capacity that children have their capacities for innovation. Robins gave two examples. Children are not frightened of being wrong. If you are not prepared to be wrong, you will never come up with anything original. When they get to be adults, most kids lost capacity. They become frightened to being wrong. Each kid has tremendous talents, but we squander them. Creativity is important in education as literary, we should treat it with the same status.

Before 19th century, there was no public system of education. They came into being to meet the needs of industrialism. Therefore, hierarchy is rooted on two ideas. First, the most useful subjects for work are at the top. Second, is academic ability which has really come to our view of intelligence because university designed the system in their academic image. Robinson also mentioned three things about intelligence: diverse, dynamic and distinct. He gave an example of a famous dancer Gillian. We need to reconstitute our conception of human capacity and also rethink the fundamental principles on which we are education our children.

In my opinion, I agree Robison ‘s point. Most schools are killing children creativity. Like he said that whole word schools usually focus on math and language;they put art or dance behind. Most schools want children study hard to get better score and enter top university. Hence, they ignore to develop children’s intelligence and interest.

                            Spring break

      On spring break, we decided to drive to Malibu, enjoy its scenery and catch a glimpse of the world-famous seaside city
 
      Our car exit from the freeway at gate 33 of 101 South, and then run on a tree-lined boulevard towards Malibu. Hills appearing on both sides of the road, suddenly several deer emerged on the right hillside. I shouted excitedly: “deer! Look, deer! “Thrilled, my friend Vince immediately rolled down the window and looked around:" Where? Where? "The deer simply ignored us, lowered heads and ate grass joyfully, paying no attention to us. If they could have spoken, they would have just snorted: humph, stop fussing!

       Following this road, we came to a winding mountain road with steep peaks on the right and deep cliffs on the left. Now left turn, now right turn, all the way on the mountain road was really frightening. Our speed was very low, whereas the oncoming vehicles in the left lane whirred past us. How bold the Americans were.

       Finally we reached the beach where we saw white sandy beaches along with turquoise waters. with a relaxed mood, we found some youth playing beach volleyball, some surfing, some swimming and some lying on the beach enjoying sunbathing. We found an empty area, sat down and took out our food to eat. As the friends chatted, we felt delighted as if the time had flew back to childhood. We quietly enjoyed the coastal breeze and longed for such a great pleasure forever! 

     On a last winter vacation, my friends and I went to the big bear, because of the big bear is ski resorts, we want to have a special experience , because it's the first time for me to go skiing. To be honest, I has been wrestling, but it is so, I'm beginning to understand about the ski, I have found a way to speed up this process, make a turn, from the lowest level to the advanced level, a few days later, I also can free control speed and action. 
     Last day, we stayed together in the house, we talk about this trip. We were forced to feel very meaningful and interesting. All of a sudden, the lights went out, I thought that the power went out, then a birthday song remind of, the friend took the cake appeared in front of me, with a candle on, then it dawned on me that today is my birthday! Thanks for my friend gave me a meaningful birthday.

In my childhood, I was crazy about Sprite. Because of it I even made a fool of myself at the age of 5.  
That morning, I spotted a bottle of Sprite right on the dinner table after I got up. I thought that it must be what mom bought for me. I twisted off the cap and was ready to drink it in one draught. Yet I tasted something spicy. It occurred to me that mom once mentioned buying pesticide. I wrote my will like guys did in the TV.

“Mom, I has drunk the pesticide. I am going to die. Please leave a bottle of Sprite on my tomb.”

With the above words, I lay down on the bed, waiting for God’s call. Instead I fell asleep and was woken up by Mom. She told me in good mood that it was wine that I had drunk.  
Years past but I will burst into laughter whenever I recall it.  

"Rome wasn't built in a day".This phrase is usually said by people.It means nothing can be done in a easy way, it takes time and patience. We also using this proverb in China, we all have the faith when we do something.

I still remember that in China my mother always tells me that Rome wasn't built in a day, when we I start to do anything I should know that it's  not going to be easy. when you make up u you mind, you need to keep doing until it's completed. I keep her words in my mind, so when I started to learn piano I felt it was so hard to learn, but I didn't give up. I try to practice more and more. Finally I found it was really a amusement.

Generally, I think we should keep doing whatever we want to, you never know  when do you dream come true.

        Hello everybody, my name is Jindong Hu. I came from Chengdu, China. I have been here about one and half years. I love the culture and environment of U.S, that's why I am studying here.

           I have a lot of hobbies, such as play video games, watch movies, travel and so on. I have been to United Kingdom ,Maldives ,Greek and so on.
